Celebrity Cruises Cancellation Policy and Final Payment Dates
Celebrity's terms track sister line Royal Caribbean's closely, with the same fare-type fork deciding what a cancellation costs.
Final payment dates
At recent policy, roughly 75 days before sailing for 1–5 night cruises and about 90 days for 6 nights or more, earlier for some holiday and long voyages. Your confirmation shows the governing date — see Cruise Deposits and Final Payment Dates Explained.
Before final payment
Refundable-deposit fares: full refund. Non-refundable deposit fares: deposit forfeited (usually converted to future cruise credit minus a per-person fee), with fees for ship or date changes. The choice is explained in Cruise Fare Classes Explained.
After final payment
A sliding penalty stepping from a portion of the fare through to 100% in the final couple of weeks, in bands set by cruise length. Insurance territory — see Travel Insurance vs Cruise Line Protection Plans.
Cancelling one guest
A partial cancellation after final payment can trigger a single supplement on the remaining guest. Ask first.
Package fares
If you booked an All Included fare, the whole package cancels together — no separating the cruise from the inclusions.
